Phi Sigma Sigma | Spring 2016 Shoot

Hi friends! What’s this you see? I started a photo blog? I know, it’s about time. And what better way to start off this blog journey with a fact that you may or may not know about me:

I am a part of a sorority.

That’s right, sistah friend. I am a sorority girl. The beauty of this though is the sorority I became a part of didn’t want me because I fit a certain stereotype or status quo. They embraced me for who I was back then as a wee shy freshman Visual Communication Design major in college. I was weird.

Like hella weird.

But they still welcomed me with open arms.

I have gained so much from such an amazing group of girls. I would never be who I am today if it weren’t for the support and love of my family away from home.

Since graduating college last May, it’s been hard not seeing a lot of my friends as often. However, I know as a sister of Phi Sigma Sigma, I will always have friends that stick by me for life.

It was so great being able to go back and give back as an alumna of my chapter (Zeta Chi at Stevenson University). It’s incredible to see how much the sisters I knew have grown and how many more we have gained.

Here are a few previews from the spring shoot I recently did with them! This session only captures about a third of the chapter…just to give you an idea of how big it’s grown! How beautiful are they?!

Once a Phi Sigma Sigma, always a Phi Sigma Sigma.
